Dear startup founder,

You are about to start the Startup Market Readiness Tool (SMRT) questionnaire, developed by the PLNT Leiden Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. SMRT assesses how prepared your startup is to go to market based on four dimensions: business, market, technology and team. You will receive a percentage score for each dimension. At the end of the questionnaire, you will be asked to fill in your email address so that a personalised report can be generated and shared with you through email.

Please allocate 15-30 minutes to answer all the questions. We recommend answering them together with your cofounders, if you have them.

Note that SMRT has been developed specifically for scalable startup concepts based on a technical or scientific innovation. If your business does not fit this profile, the tool might be less useful for you.
